We are looking for an AEM Solutions Engineer to build and maintain scalable digital experiences on AEM Sites, Assets, and AEM as a Cloud Service. The team focuses on hands-on development of components, templates, and workflows while ensuring high performance and maintainability.
You will balance technical rigor with user needs, implementing modern patterns like SPA editor and headless delivery. The ideal candidate has production experience with AEM and understands both backend logic and front-end integration.
What you'll do
- Design and develop AEM Sites components and templates using modern patterns
- Build OSGi services, Sling models, servlets, and Java backend logic
- Develop front-end experiences with HTL, JavaScript, and build tools
- Implement headless delivery via Content Fragments and GraphQL APIs
- Manage AEM as a Cloud Service deployments with CI/CD pipelines
- Customize AEM Assets workflows and metadata schemas
- Integrate AEM with Adobe Experience Cloud and external systems
- Optimize page performance, caching, and Dispatcher configuration
- Troubleshoot production issues across author, publish, and Dispatcher tiers
- Collaborate with authors and designers to improve content workflows
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Five or more years of AEM development experience
- Deep expertise in Java, OSGi, Sling, and HTL
- Strong understanding of AEM architecture tiers
- Hands-on experience with AEM as a Cloud Service or AEM 6.5
- Experience building Content Fragments and GraphQL APIs
- Strong front-end skills with modern JavaScript
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for AEM
- Strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have
- Adobe Certified AEM Developer credentials
- Experience with Edge Delivery Services and Franklin/HLX
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform
- Exposure to multi-region or multi-brand deployments
- Integration experience with Magento or Salesforce Commerce Cloud
