You will develop platforms that provide real-time data on machine condition and utilization, helping lenders and insurers move beyond outdated spreadsheet methods. The studio provides investment, fundraising networks, and operational resources to accelerate your path from idea to seed stage.
What you'll do
- Build a B2B SaaS business from zero to one in the physical asset sector
- Develop solutions for persistent asset identity and real-time performance data
- Create dynamic collateral valuation models using live IoT signals
- Design usage-based financing or insurance products tied to actual utilization
- Execute go-to-market strategy to reach $50-100K ARR
- Attract, hire, and lead a world-class team
What you'll need
- Early-stage operator experience in physical asset finance or monitoring
- Background in underwriting equipment finance or asset-backed lending
- Experience building IoT, telemetry, or appraisal products for lenders or insurers
- Proven ability to attract and lead high-performing teams
- Based in Canada or the US
- Ability to collaborate within North American time zones
- Desire to become a venture-backed founder
