Join the Usersnap team at saas.group to integrate AI capabilities into their core product, including automated setup and intelligent surveys. As a player-coach, you will define technical standards for AI-native development while managing delivery timelines and team coordination.
You will partner closely with Product to ship reliable, production-quality features. The position requires balancing hands-on coding with leadership responsibilities, ensuring the team meets commitments without absorbing product management duties.
What you'll do
- Coordinate team delivery, timelines, and workload allocation
- Define engineering standards for observability, testing, and security
- Design and ship AI-powered features from prototype to production
- Make architecture decisions on model selection and integration
- Provide technical feedback and mentor team members
- Partner with Product on requirements and technical planning
- Implement timeboxing practices for AI development work
What you'll need
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- Proven track record shipping AI features to production
- Experience leading small engineering teams or acting as tech lead
- Strong fullstack fundamentals across frontend and backend
- Practical knowledge of LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and RAG
- Expertise in observability, logging, and automated testing
- Ability to design scalable data pipelines and SQL schemas
- Fluency with Docker, CI/CD, and version control practices
Nice to have
- Experience integrating multiple LLM providers
- Familiarity with vector databases and LangChain
- Background in security and compliance for enterprise markets
- Experience fine-tuning models when necessary
