Join TENEX as an AI/ML Engineer to design and optimize scalable AI systems for managed detection and response. You will build the AI layer powering autonomous investigation and auto-remediation workflows, handling billions of security events.
This position requires close collaboration with product and engineering teams to translate attacker behavior into robust ML detections. You will drive projects from concept to completion, focusing on reliability and performance in a high-growth startup environment.
What you'll do
- Design and build AI layers for autonomous detection and remediation
- Productionize large-scale LLMs and graph-based reasoning engines
- Manage evaluation, reliability, and red-team testing strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define ML detections
- Drive abstract projects from start to finish with stakeholder alignment
- Experiment with retrieval-augmented generation and multi-modal models
What you'll need
- 1-3+ years in software development using Python, Go, Rust, or Java
- Deep knowledge of agentic systems and multi-agent architectures
- Solid understanding of graph structures and graph databases
- Experience with orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph
- Strong grasp of microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and event-driven systems
- Proficiency in API design using REST or gRPC
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Nice to have
- Prior experience in cybersecurity domains like SIEM, EDR, or MDR
- Background in high-growth startups or enterprise SaaS environments
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure security on AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Relevant certifications in cloud engineering or Kubernetes
