Leland connects individuals with experts and communities to help them navigate careers in an AI-driven world. We are looking for professionals with production-level experience in machine learning systems to guide mentees through technical interview preparation and project development.
As a coach, you will share your expertise on AI fundamentals and real-world applications. You will operate independently, setting your own hours and rates, while collaborating with the Leland team to ensure high-quality mentoring experiences for aspiring engineers.
What you'll do
- Review and provide feedback on mentee resumes
- Prepare candidates for technical AI and ML interviews
- Guide students in building strong projects and portfolios
- Explain AI/ML fundamentals and real-world applications
- Host virtual coaching sessions with mentees
- Partner with the Leland team to ensure quality service
What you'll need
- Experience as an AI or ML Engineer at a well-known company
- Background in production-level ML systems or infrastructure
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to learners
- Knowledge of current AI and machine learning practices
How you'll work
- Coaches set their own working hours
- Coaches determine their own hourly rates
- All sessions are hosted virtually
- Independent contractor style engagement
