As an AI Solutions Engineer at DailyPay, you will embed within various departments to identify workflow bottlenecks and design AI-driven solutions. You will bridge the gap between enterprise-grade AI engineering and daily business execution by building scripts, API integrations, and durable agents.
Your work will focus on translating vague business problems into technical requirements, ensuring responsible AI usage, and optimizing model performance for cost and efficiency. You will serve as the go-to expert for AI capabilities, mentoring peers and driving adoption across the organization.
What you'll do
- Shadow domain experts to uncover workflows and pain points
- Design and ship automation MVPs, scripts, and API integrations
- Build, evaluate, and operate reliable AI workflows and agents
- Implement evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and observability
- Serve as the internal authority for AI questions and configuration
- Mentor peers and create reusable documentation for AI development
- Benchmark model performance and optimize prompt usage for cost
- Ensure AI work adheres to data privacy and security policies
What you'll need
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Go or JavaScript, ideally both
- Hands-on experience building applications with LLMs
- Deep understanding of agent design, skills, context, and memory
- Experience working with APIs of platforms like Jira or Salesforce
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Proven track record of analyzing business operations for ROI
- High emotional intelligence and comfort working autonomously
