As an AI Strategist at Supernal, you act as the primary owner for forward-deployed pods, ensuring successful delivery of AI-native transformations for SMB and mid-market clients. You bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, working closely with engineering leads to build custom interfaces and automate workflows.
This position requires strong program management skills and the ability to communicate transparently with stakeholders. You will define scope, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining high client satisfaction and operational quality.
What you'll do
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics
- Break work into milestones, dependencies, and realistic timelines
- Identify risks early and drive mitigation plans with clear communication
- Lead all client communication including weekly syncs and status reports
- Validate progress with engineering teams and question optimistic statuses
- Manage the transition from initial build to ongoing development partnership
- Conduct structured post-mortems to capture learnings and improve processes
- Maintain system hygiene and ensure contractual alignment with delivery
What you'll need
- 6 to 10+ years managing complex programs in SaaS, AI, or automation
- Proven track record of on-time, to-spec delivery with high client satisfaction
- Deep experience in scope definition, planning, risk, and change management
- Strong structured, concise, and transparent communication skills
- Skilled at probing assumptions, validating data, and driving decisions
- Hands-on experience with project management tools
- Confident operating across both technical and executive stakeholder levels
- Ability to take full ownership of results from end to end
Nice to have
- Real technical proficiency in data layers and agentic pipelines
- Experience with webhooks, MCPs, and APIs
- Ability to prototype proposed solutions personally
