Join a lean, distributed e-commerce team to transition from scattered AI experiments to systematic business automation. You will audit workflows, build internal tools, and integrate AI solutions across departments including accounting, customer service, and catalog management.
Reporting directly to the founder, you will own projects end-to-end, from identifying friction points to shipping practical automations that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
What you'll do
- Audit manual workflows across departments to identify automation opportunities
- Automate accounting tasks such as credit card and invoice reconciliation
- Build a consolidated reporting layer from multiple data sources
- Manage and improve the AI-powered customer support ticketing agent
- Use AI tools to clean, maintain, and format large product catalogs
- Develop reporting tools to optimize purchasing and inventory decisions
- Support non-technical teams in adopting AI solutions for their workflows
- Own automation projects from initial audit through implementation and adoption
What you'll need
- Proven experience implementing AI automations used by business teams
- Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into technical solutions
- Proficiency with AI coding assistants like Claude Code
- Experience consolidating data across disconnected systems
- Capable of working independently with minimal oversight
- Strong business judgment for prioritizing high-impact automation tasks
Nice to have
- Familiarity with SellerCloud or similar order management platforms
- Background in e-commerce operations, inventory, or purchasing
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- History of building AI agents for customer support workflows
- Knowledge of Google Workspace or SharePoint environments
