Join the Scam Disruption team to combat pig butchering syndicates and romance fraud. You will lead targeting-driven investigations by combining legal process returns with open-source intelligence. Your work helps dismantle criminal operations and supports federal partners.
What you'll do
- Execute end-to-end legal process against scam infrastructure
- Convert legal returns into actionable targeting intelligence
- Trace scam compounds using on-chain and off-chain data
- Identify operators and movement patterns via OSINT
- Process high-volume data for intelligence pipelines
- Pivot from single victims to uncover broader networks
- Collaborate with threat intelligence leads on strategy
What you'll need
- 3 to 5 years of all-source investigative experience
- Background in federal law enforcement or intelligence
- Expertise in drafting and working US legal process
- Ability to correlate disparate data sources
- Strong written communication for federal-style memos
- Proficiency in using AI tools for workflow acceleration
- US Citizenship is mandatory
- Must reside in Washington DC, Maryland, or Virginia
Nice to have
- Experience with cryptocurrency investigations
- Knowledge of on-chain tradecraft
