Join the IT Data & Analytics Team as a Senior Data & Analytics Engineer to help modernize the analytics platform. You will partner with business leaders to define roadmaps, gather requirements, and deliver scalable capabilities using cloud technologies.
The role requires a blend of business acumen and technical expertise, acting as a trusted advisor while remaining hands-on with architecture, modeling, and development.
What you'll do
- Serve as primary data partner for business areas and lead discovery sessions
- Translate business strategies into scalable data and analytics solutions
- Design and architect solutions using Snowflake, dbt, and Power BI
- Lead conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling efforts
- Build, test, deploy, and support dbt models and ELT pipelines
- Optimize Snowflake performance, storage, and query efficiency
- Develop Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and reports
- Implement automated testing, monitoring, and data quality controls
What you'll need
- 7+ years delivering enterprise data and analytics solutions
- Advanced SQL development and performance optimization skills
- Strong expertise in dimensional modeling and data warehousing
- Experience designing end-to-end cloud-based data solutions
- Proven ability to influence partners and gather requirements
- Understanding of data governance, lineage, and quality concepts
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in Agile environments
Nice to have
- Hands-on ability with building pipelines and gold-layer development
- Experience with Data Vault modeling techniques
- Knowledge of Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with data observability and monitoring solutions
