Join BJAK, a leading insurance and financial platform in Southeast Asia, as an Android Developer. You will build the native Android experience for their AI Neobank App, focusing on clean user flows and high performance.
The team works globally to help users manage spending, saving, and investing. You will collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to ship reliable mobile features used by real customers.
What you'll do
- Build native Android features for onboarding, payments, and AI-assisted journeys
- Transform complex financial flows into simple and reliable mobile experiences
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams from idea to production
- Own app quality including performance, crash rates, and release stability
- Use analytics and customer feedback to improve features after launch
- Integrate APIs and handle secure data for financial workflows
What you'll need
- Strong native Android development experience using Kotlin
- Proven track record of shipping apps used by real users
- Deep understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow
- Strong product sense with focus on UX beyond just implementing screens
- Ability to debug production issues and optimize performance
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and moving fast in a startup
