Join BJAK as an Android Engineer to develop the native experience for their AI Neobank application. You will transform complex financial processes into simple, high-performance mobile features used by real customers across Southeast Asia.
The team values clean user flows, product quality, and reliable shipping. You will collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI engineers to take features from concept to production while maintaining high standards for app stability and performance.
What you'll do
- Build native Android features for onboarding, accounts, cards, and payments
- Simplify complex financial flows into fast and reliable mobile experiences
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI teams on feature delivery
- Own app quality including performance, crash rates, and release stability
- Use analytics and customer feedback to improve features post-launch
- Integrate APIs, authentication, and secure data handling workflows
What you'll need
- Strong native Android development experience using Kotlin
- Proven track record of shipping apps used by real users
- Deep understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow
- Strong product sense with focus on UX beyond just screens
- Ability to debug production issues and optimize performance
- Comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
