Join BJAK as an Android Engineer to develop the native experience for their AI Neobank application. You will focus on creating clean user flows, ensuring fast performance, and shipping reliable features for real customers across Southeast Asia.
The team values product quality and collaboration with design, backend, and AI engineers. You will take ownership of app stability, performance, and user experience from concept to production.
What you'll do
- Build native Android features for onboarding, payments, and AI-assisted journeys
- Transform complex financial workflows into simple and reliable mobile experiences
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI teams to ship features
- Own app quality including performance, crash rates, and release stability
- Use analytics and customer feedback to improve features post-launch
- Integrate APIs and handle secure data for financial workflows
What you'll need
- Strong native Android development experience using Kotlin
- Proven track record of shipping apps used by real users
- Deep understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow
- Strong product sense with a focus on UX beyond just implementing screens
- Ability to debug production issues and optimize app performance
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and moving quickly in a startup environment
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
