You will engineer the native Android experience for BJAK's AI Neobank App, handling features like onboarding, payments, and AI-assisted journeys. The team prioritizes clean user flows, fast performance, and product quality, working closely with design, backend, and AI engineers to ship reliable features used by real customers.
What you'll do
- Build native Android features for onboarding, accounts, cards, and payments
- Transform complex financial flows into simple and reliable mobile experiences
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI teams from idea to production
- Own app quality including performance, crash rates, and release stability
- Use analytics and customer feedback to improve features after launch
- Integrate APIs and secure data handling with a focus on reliability
What you'll need
- Strong native Android development experience using Kotlin
- Proven track record of shipping Android apps to real users
- Deep understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow
- Strong product sense with a focus on UX beyond just implementing screens
- Ability to debug production issues and optimize app performance
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and moving fast in a startup environment
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
