You will engineer the native Android experience for BJAK's AI Neobank App, handling features like onboarding, payments, and AI-assisted journeys. The team prioritizes product quality, fast performance, and turning complex financial workflows into simple mobile experiences.
Collaboration with product, design, backend, and AI engineers is essential to take features from concept to production. You will own app stability, using analytics and feedback to refine the application after launch.
What you'll do
- Build native Android features for accounts, payments, transfers, and rewards
- Transform complex financial flows into simple and reliable mobile experiences
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI teams to ship features
- Own app quality including performance, crash rates, and release stability
- Use production feedback and analytics to improve features post-launch
- Integrate APIs, authentication, and secure data handling for financial workflows
What you'll need
- Strong native Android development experience using Kotlin
- Proven track record of shipping apps used by real customers
- Deep understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow
- Strong product sense with focus on UX beyond just implementing screens
- Ability to debug production issues and optimize app performance
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and moving fast in a startup environment
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
