Join BJAK, a leading insurance and financial platform in Southeast Asia, as an Android Engineer. You will develop the native Android experience for the company's AI Neobank App, focusing on clean user flows and high performance.
The team works globally to help users manage spending, saving, and investing. You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to ship reliable mobile features used by real customers.
What you'll do
- Build native Android features for onboarding, payments, and AI-assisted journeys
- Transform complex financial flows into simple and reliable mobile experiences
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams from idea to production
- Own app quality including performance, crash rates, and release stability
- Use analytics and customer feedback to improve features after launch
- Integrate APIs and secure data handling with a focus on reliability
What you'll need
- Strong native Android development experience using Kotlin
- Proven track record of shipping apps used by real users
- Deep understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow
- Strong product sense with attention to UX beyond just implementing screens
- Ability to debug production issues and optimize app performance
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and moving fast in a startup environment
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
