Join BJAK, a leading insurance and financial platform in Southeast Asia, as an Android Engineer. You will build the native experience for their AI Neobank App, focusing on clean user flows, performance, and reliability for real customers.
The team works globally to help people manage spending, saving, and investing. You will collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI engineers to ship high-quality mobile features.
What you'll do
- Build native Android features for onboarding, payments, transfers, and rewards
- Transform complex financial flows into simple and reliable mobile experiences
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI teams from idea to production
- Own app quality including performance, crash rates, and release stability
- Use analytics and customer feedback to improve features after launch
- Integrate APIs, authentication, and secure data handling for financial workflows
What you'll need
- Strong native Android development experience using Kotlin
- Proven track record of shipping apps used by real users
- Deep understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow
- Strong product sense with focus on UX beyond just implementing screens
- Ability to debug production issues and optimize performance
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and moving fast in a startup environment
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
