Join BJAK, a leading insurance and financial platform in Southeast Asia, as an Android Engineer. You will build the native experience for their AI Neobank App, focusing on clean user flows, performance, and reliability for real customers.
The team operates globally with a strong emphasis on product quality and speed. You will collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI engineers to ship features from concept to production.
What you'll do
- Build native Android features for onboarding, payments, and AI journeys
- Transform complex financial flows into simple mobile experiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship features to production
- Own app quality including performance, crash rates, and stability
- Use analytics and feedback to improve features post-launch
- Integrate APIs and handle secure data for financial workflows
What you'll need
- Strong native Android development experience using Kotlin
- Proven track record of shipping apps used by real users
- Deep knowledge of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow
- Strong product sense with focus on UX beyond just screens
- Ability to debug production issues and optimize performance
- Comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced startup
