Join BJAK, a leading insurance and financial platform in Southeast Asia, as an Android Engineer. You will build the native experience for their AI Neobank App, focusing on clean user flows, performance, and reliability for real customers.
The team works globally with over 20 nationalities. You will collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI engineers to ship features from idea to production, ensuring high quality and stability.
What you'll do
- Build native Android features for onboarding, accounts, cards, and payments
- Transform complex financial flows into simple and reliable mobile experiences
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI teams to ship features
- Own app quality including performance, crash rates, and release stability
- Use analytics and customer feedback to improve features post-launch
- Integrate APIs, authentication, and secure data handling workflows
What you'll need
- Strong native Android development experience using Kotlin
- Proven track record of shipping apps used by real users
- Deep understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow
- Strong product sense with focus on UX beyond just implementing screens
- Ability to debug production issues and optimize performance
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and moving fast in a startup
- Fluent English communication skills
