Join BJAK as an Android Engineer to develop the native experience for their AI-powered Neobank application. You will transform complex financial processes into simple, high-performance mobile interfaces used by real customers across Southeast Asia.
The team values clean code, product quality, and rapid iteration. You will collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI specialists to ship reliable features from concept to production.
What you'll do
- Build native Android features for onboarding, payments, and AI journeys
- Translate complex financial flows into simple mobile experiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams from idea to production
- Own app quality including performance, crash rates, and stability
- Use analytics and feedback to improve features post-launch
- Integrate APIs and secure data handling for financial workflows
What you'll need
- Strong native Android development experience using Kotlin
- Proven track record of shipping apps to real users
- Deep knowledge of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow
- Strong product sense with focus on UX beyond just screens
- Ability to debug production issues and optimize performance
- Comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced startup
- Fluent English communication skills required
