Join BJAK, a leading insurance and financial platform in Southeast Asia, as an Android Engineer. You will build the native experience for their AI Neobank App, focusing on clean user flows, performance, and product quality.
The team works globally with over 20 nationalities. You will collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI engineers to ship features that help users manage their money effectively.
What you'll do
- Build native Android features for onboarding, payments, and AI-assisted journeys
- Transform complex financial flows into simple and reliable mobile experiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to take features from idea to production
- Own app quality including performance, crash rates, and release stability
- Use analytics and customer feedback to improve features after launch
- Integrate APIs and handle secure data for financial workflows
What you'll need
- Strong native Android development experience using Kotlin
- Proven track record of shipping apps used by real customers
- Deep understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow
- Strong product sense with focus on UX beyond just implementing screens
- Ability to debug production issues and optimize app performance
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and moving fast in a startup environment
- Fluent English communication skills for global team collaboration
