You will develop native Android features for onboarding, payments, and AI-assisted journeys within BJAK's finance platform. The team focuses on turning complex financial flows into simple, high-performance mobile experiences for real users in Southeast Asia.
What you'll do
- Build native Android features for accounts, cards, payments, and rewards
- Transform complex financial flows into simple and reliable mobile experiences
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI engineers on feature delivery
- Own app quality including performance, crash rates, and release stability
- Use analytics and user feedback to improve features after launch
- Integrate APIs and handle secure data for financial workflows
What you'll need
- Strong native Android development experience using Kotlin
- Proven track record of shipping apps used by real customers
- Deep understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow
- Strong product sense with focus on UX beyond just implementing screens
- Ability to debug production issues and optimize app performance
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and moving fast in a startup environment
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
