You will join BJAK's global team to develop the Android application for their AI Finance Agent. The work focuses on creating reliable, fast, and user-friendly flows for insurance, payments, and investments, ensuring complex financial tasks feel simple for users across Southeast Asia.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin and modern architecture
- Design clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, and claims
- Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify user journeys
- Integrate backend APIs ensuring stability, security, and reliability
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and loading states
- Use analytics and production data to drive product improvements
- Implement AI-assisted features where they enhance user experience
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin
- Strong grasp of Android fundamentals and shipping production apps
- Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern architecture
- Solid understanding of mobile UX, usability, and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging live issues
- Ability to execute quickly while maintaining code quality
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
Nice to have
- Portfolio links, GitHub repos, or screenshots of shipped work
- Experience with TensorFlow Lite for on-device inference
- Background in simplifying complex financial products
