You will join BJAK's global team to develop the Android application for their AI-driven financial platform. The work focuses on creating reliable, fast, and user-friendly flows for insurance, payments, and savings products used by customers across Southeast Asia.
The team values clean code, strong ownership, and product quality. You will collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complex financial journeys and integrate backend APIs while ensuring app stability and performance.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin and modern architecture
- Create clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, and claims
- Collaborate with product and design to simplify user journeys
- Integrate backend APIs ensuring stability and security
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and crash rates
- Use analytics and production data to improve product quality
- Implement AI-assisted features where they enhance user experience
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin
- Strong fundamentals in shipping production mobile apps
- Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and Android architecture
- Solid understanding of mobile UX, usability, and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging live issues
- High ownership mindset with attention to product quality
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
