You will join BJAK's global team to develop the Android application for their AI-driven financial platform. The work focuses on creating reliable, fast, and user-friendly flows for insurance, payments, and savings, ensuring complex financial tasks feel simple for users in Southeast Asia.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin for financial services
- Design clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, and claims
- Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify user journeys
- Integrate backend APIs to ensure stable and secure mobile operations
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and crash rates
- Use analytics and production data to drive product improvements
- Implement AI-assisted features where they enhance user experience
What you'll need
- At least 3 years of Android development experience with Kotlin
- Strong grasp of Android fundamentals and production app shipping
- Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern architecture
- Solid understanding of mobile UX, usability, and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging live issues
- Demonstrated ability to execute quickly with high ownership
- Portfolio or examples of shipped work is highly advantageous
