You will join BJAK's global team to develop the Android application for their AI-driven financial platform. The focus is on creating reliable, fast, and user-friendly flows for insurance, payments, and savings products used by millions in Southeast Asia.

What you'll do

  • Build and ship native Android features using Kotlin
  • Design clean flows for insurance, payments, and claims
  • Collaborate with product and design to simplify user journeys
  • Integrate backend APIs ensuring stability and security
  • Optimize app performance, memory usage, and crash rates
  • Use analytics and production data to drive product improvements
  • Implement AI-assisted experiences where they enhance usability

What you'll need

  • 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin
  • Strong fundamentals in shipping production-grade apps
  • Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern architecture
  • Deep understanding of mobile UX, usability, and edge cases
  • Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging live issues
  • High ownership mindset with attention to product quality
  • Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
