Join Doit's engineering team to develop the native Android experience for an AI-driven neobank application. You will focus on building reliable mobile features for insurance, payments, and investments, ensuring high performance and seamless user journeys for customers in the Australian market.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin for financial services
- Create clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, and claims
- Collaborate with product and design to simplify complex user journeys
- Integrate backend APIs to ensure stable and secure mobile flows
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and crash rates
- Use analytics and production data to drive product improvements
- Implement AI-assisted experiences where they add genuine value
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin
- Strong fundamentals in shipping production-grade mobile apps
- Proficiency with Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern architecture
- Solid understanding of mobile UX, usability, and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging live issues
- Ability to execute quickly while maintaining code quality
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
Nice to have
- Portfolio with app links, GitHub repos, or screenshots of shipped work
- Experience with TensorFlow Lite for on-device inference
