This position involves developing and configuring complex enterprise applications using Appian components such as SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, and Web APIs. You will design secure integrations, perform SQL data modeling, and collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile environment.
The role also includes troubleshooting and optimizing application performance, with exposure to AI technologies and generative AI solutions within the Appian platform.
What you'll do
- Develop enterprise apps using Appian components like SAIL and Process Models
- Design secure integrations using RESTful APIs and authentication patterns
- Perform SQL data modeling and relational database design
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Explore AI technologies and generative AI solutions within Appian
What you'll need
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for federal contract compliance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent
- Five years of professional technical experience
- Three plus years of hands-on Appian development experience
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
Nice to have
- Appian Certified Associate, Senior Developer or Lead Developer
- Understanding of federal IT compliance like FISMA and NIST
- Experience with performance tuning and application troubleshooting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive approach to obtaining higher-level Appian certifications
