The role focuses on application security testing, threat modeling, and supporting incident response. You will help establish policies and drive solutions that maintain customer trust across the African market.
What you'll do
- Conduct web, mobile, and API security assessments
- Perform threat modeling and secure code reviews
- Manage vulnerability lifecycle and track remediation
- Integrate security into SDLC and DevSecOps pipelines
- Support investigation of application security incidents
- Research emerging threats and improve security processes
What you'll need
- Minimum 3 years in application or IT security
- Experience with penetration testing and SAST/DAST
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and CWE standards
- Scripting ability in Python, JavaScript, or Bash
- Understanding of cloud security on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong communication skills for technical audiences
