Join Accenture Security to help clients modernize their application security posture during cloud transitions. You will design secure architectures and integrate automation into the SDLC for legacy systems moving to public, private, or hybrid clouds.
This position requires expertise in securing diverse tech stacks while fostering client relationships and mentoring junior practitioners. Travel requirements vary significantly based on project needs.
What you'll do
- Design secure cloud architectures for .NET, Java, and SQL applications
- Lead client interactions to define security needs for modernized apps
- Implement DevSecOps practices and secure SDLC integrations
- Conduct security assessments for modernized cloud environments
- Deploy AI agents and harnesses for application security solutions
- Mentor junior security practitioners and create reusable assets
- Ensure migration compliance with security standards and policies
What you'll need
- Minimum 3 years in application security and cloud DevSecOps
- Experience securing .NET, Java, SAP apps or SQL databases
- Proficiency with SAST, DAST, SCA, CNAPP, and WAF tools
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Willingness to travel up to 100% depending on client needs
- Strong communication and leadership skills for client facing roles
Nice to have
- Previous experience in Big Four consulting firms
- Advanced knowledge of internal controls and security protocols
- Foundational understanding of AI application design
- Proven ability to work creatively in problem-solving contexts
