Working within a startup environment, you will collaborate with product, design, and science teams to ship high-quality features. The tech stack centers on Elixir and Phoenix LiveView, requiring strong full-stack capabilities and SQL proficiency.
What you'll do
- Build full-stack features for wildfire resilience and utilities applications
- Translate designs into responsive and accessible user interfaces
- Collaborate with product, design, data, and science teams
- Resolve ambiguities in loosely defined problems to ship quality code
- Present optimization and simulation results via maps and charts
What you'll need
- 5+ years of professional full-stack web application experience
- Strong proficiency with SQL and relational databases
- Experience turning designs into responsive, accessible UIs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully remote startup
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Experience with geospatial fundamentals or natural science domain
- Familiarity with Elixir and Phoenix LiveView is preferred
Nice to have
- Experience with PostGIS or spatial database tooling
- Knowledge of generating raster and vector tilesets
- Background in forestry, ecology, or fire science
- Experience with Geopackage or GeoTIFF formats
