Join BJAK as an Applied AI Engineer to develop practical AI solutions for their leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia. You will build agents and automation systems that integrate with customer support, claims, and operations to reduce manual work and improve user experience.
This position requires strong software engineering skills combined with hands-on experience in deploying LLM-based applications. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to turn prototypes into reliable, production-grade systems.
What you'll do
- Build AI-powered workflows, assistants, and automation systems
- Apply AI to support, CRM, onboarding, claims, and payments
- Integrate LLMs with internal data, APIs, and knowledge bases
- Design evaluation and monitoring flows for safe AI outputs
- Prototype quickly and productionize successful tests
- Collaborate with product teams to scale AI-native systems
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background, preferably in Python
- Experience building with LLM APIs, agents, or RAG
- Ability to connect AI systems with operational workflows
- Understanding of AI evaluation, latency, and failure modes
- Strong English communication skills required
- Must be currently based in Singapore
