You will investigate complex email security threats and detection gaps, transforming insights into robust detections and AI behaviors. Working with Product and Engineering, you will enhance the platform's ability to counter phishing, impersonation, and fraud at scale.
What you'll do
- Own detection lifecycle from investigation to production coverage
- Build evaluations and supervise AI model behavior
- Automate repetitive investigative tasks using coding agents
- Partner with teams on detection logic and edge cases
- Collaborate with customers to address real-world threat tactics
What you'll need
- Experience in detection engineering, SOC, or email security
- Ability to diagnose root causes of detection failures
- Understanding of phishing, BEC, and social engineering TTPs
- Skill in scaling expert judgment into automated systems
- Comfort working with ambiguity and AI tools
Nice to have
- Deep knowledge of SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and mail flow
- Experience with M365, Google Workspace, or email APIs
- Familiarity with detection-as-code and LLM security
- Background in building agentic security workflows
- Experience with SIEM, TI tooling, or vendor partnerships
