Leland connects individuals with experts and communities to advance their careers and education in an AI-driven world. We are looking for an architecture expert to guide students through technical skill development and professional growth.
In this coaching role, you will help students master architectural design, regulations, and project management while preparing them for the job market. You will set your own schedule and rates, delivering virtual sessions to support student success.
What you'll do
- Coach students on architectural design, space planning, and site analysis
- Guide learners through CAD, 3D modeling, and sustainable design practices
- Explain building codes, regulations, and urban planning concepts
- Mentor on construction and project management plus client relations
- Assist with portfolio creation and design presentation skills
- Review resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles for students
- Provide interview prep and salary negotiation guidance
- Advise on networking strategies and freelancing opportunities
What you'll need
- Significant professional experience in architecture
- Background in firm-based work, freelance, or both
- Prior experience in mentoring or teaching
- Structured approach to helping students grow
- Ability to host virtual coaching sessions
