Join Tailor as an Associate Forward-Deployed Product Manager to own the execution of live client implementations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating with internal developers to ensure projects stay on track and deliverables meet commitments.
This role focuses on operational excellence, including testing, training, and gap analysis. It is designed as a developmental step toward a Senior Product Manager position, with progression based on performance.
What you'll do
- Manage daily client communications, handle questions, and resolve escalations
- Coordinate with internal development teams to track progress and blockers
- Maintain project management tools like GitHub Projects and Jira
- Analyze client data to identify gaps, discrepancies, and implementation risks
- Validate releases, coordinate client testing, and ensure go-live readiness
- Create and deliver training materials to enable client independence
- Translate client feedback into product insights for the roadmap
What you'll need
- 2–5 years in product management or management consulting
- Management consulting experience is strongly preferred
- Proven experience facing customers and stakeholders
- Comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical audiences
- Structured thinker who handles ambiguity well
- Strong ownership mindset with attention to operational detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with data analysis tools and AI-driven workflows
Nice to have
- Personal side projects demonstrating coding or building skills
- Experience with ecommerce or physical-product operations
- Familiarity with ERP, 3PL, or commerce platforms
- Prior experience onboarding customers onto software solutions
