As an Associate Solutions Engineer at Primer, you will serve as a trusted technical partner to forward-thinking companies shaping the future of commerce. You will empower merchants to build confidently on Primer’s platform by unblocking proofs of concept and future-proofing architectures.
Working closely with product, engineering, and commercial teams, you will translate complex requirements into robust solutions. Your focus will be on making integrations seamless and ensuring merchants achieve their strategic goals through technical excellence.
What you'll do
- Consult with merchants to identify pain points and demonstrate Primer's value
- Provide technical expertise to support the sales team in business development
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa
- Lead discovery sessions, solution design workshops, and product demos
- Collaborate with Product to identify feature enhancements based on market feedback
What you'll need
- Fluency in both French and English is required
- Experience in a merchant-facing role with complex API products
- Background in payments industry is highly preferred
- Ability to lead discovery sessions with technical counterparts
- Strong skills in explaining complex technical specifications clearly
- Creative improvisation skills for varied merchant scenarios
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities for all stakeholders
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across internal teams
- Experience thriving in fast-paced, scaling environments
