As an Audit Methodology Lead, you will define the structure and logic of Fieldguide's out-of-the-box methodology content. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and AI teams to ensure the platform accurately reflects professional standards and industry nuances.
Your work involves operationalizing guidance from partners like US GAAS and PCAOB into usable, platform-ready workflows. You will also support implementation teams and maintain the audit knowledge base as regulations evolve.
What you'll do
- Define structure and logic for out-of-the-box methodology content with partners
- Configure partner-sourced audit procedures into platform-ready workflows
- Integrate guidance from US GAAS, PCAOB, and other frameworks into the library
- Evaluate and incorporate industry procedures and internal control testing approaches
- Partner with AI architects to translate standards into prompts and guardrails
- Support financial audit implementation teams with firm-specific customizations
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise on product implications
What you'll need
- Active CPA certification is required
- Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience
- Strong expertise in AICPA auditing standards (GAAS) and PCAOB
- Experience with audit technology, automation, or AI-enabled tools
- Working knowledge of quality control standards like SQMS 1
- Ability to translate professional standards into structured workflows
- Strong analytical thinking and cross-functional collaboration skills

- Interest in process improvement and optimization
- Experience in audit methodology or national office roles
- Expertise in international auditing standards and methodologies
- Exposure to LLMs, prompt design, or AI-assisted workflows
