Join the Managed Services team to support a large North American automotive enterprise operating across 155 AWS accounts. As the engagement evolves into an Advanced MSP model with a Cloud Center of Excellence, you will collaborate with OS, EKS, and security engineers. A 24x7 monitoring team in Vietnam handles initial alerts, escalating complex issues to your expertise.
What you'll do
- Manage day-to-day operations for RDS, Aurora, and self-managed databases
- Verify backup integrity by proving that restores function correctly
- Execute disaster-recovery runbooks during critical incidents
- Handle escalated issues from the 24x7 first-response monitoring team
- Collaborate with CCoE architecture and infrastructure engineers
What you'll need
- Experience managing database operations in AWS environments
- Proficiency with RDS, Aurora, and self-managed database systems
- Ability to execute and validate disaster recovery procedures
- Capability to work within a multi-account AWS architecture
- Readiness to serve as an escalation point for technical issues
