Anyone AI seeks Backend Developers to support a leading AI Lab by creating realistic software engineering challenges. This project-based consultant role involves designing multi-file coding tasks, writing specifications, and reviewing peer submissions for quality and accuracy.
You will work remotely with full control over your schedule, focusing on bug resolution, feature implementation, and refactoring scenarios. The position requires strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript alongside experience in production systems.
What you'll do
- Design multi-file coding tasks for bug fixing and feature development
- Write clear natural-language specifications and reference code
- Develop and extend unit and integration test suites
- Review peer-generated tasks for correctness and realism
- Identify edge cases and potential failure modes in code
- Ensure alignment between specs, code, and expected outputs
What you'll need
- Advanced professional written English proficiency
- 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go
- Experience with backend or full-stack production systems
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like pytest or Jest
- Ability to debug and navigate large codebases
