Join the AI Engineering team to design and ship reliable connectors, APIs, and integration infrastructure. You will enable TRM’s AI systems to access external data sources safely and at scale, supporting the mission to disrupt illicit financial activity.
You will collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to turn integration needs into production-grade systems. The work involves improving the speed, quality, and reliability of how the platform connects to third-party intelligence sources.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain third-party API integrations for Agentic products
- Develop scalable integration infrastructure and shared services
- Build reliable backend services and data pipelines for high-volume use
- Translate integration needs into technical roadmaps with stakeholders
- Improve observability, reliability, and maintainability of the platform
What you'll need
- Experience building scalable backend systems, APIs, and web services
- Strong knowledge of API patterns including auth, retries, and error handling
- Familiarity with relational databases, queues, caches, or event-driven architectures
- Ability to structure complex problems and drive projects from ambiguity
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to communicate technical ideas clearly
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional environments with product and data teams
Nice to have
- Experience with OSINT data sources
- Experience with AI Production Systems
How you'll work
- Fully remote role for candidates in Latin America
- Requires 6 hours overlap with PST, typically 8 am to 2 pm PST
- On-call rotation occurs one week every 4–6 weeks
- Weekly sprint schedule with high ownership expectations
