You will engineer the backend services, APIs, and workflows powering BJAK's AI Neobank app. Your work supports products across insurance, payments, savings, and investing, ensuring reliable infrastructure for millions of users.
The team focuses on building practical, auditable systems ready for regulated financial environments. You will collaborate with product and mobile teams to ship customer-facing features while integrating with banks, payment gateways, and insurers.
What you'll do
- Build backend services and APIs for the AI Neobank application
- Design systems for accounts, transactions, and partner integrations
- Integrate with banks, payment gateways, insurers, and data providers
- Improve system reliability, observability, security, and performance
- Collaborate with product and mobile teams to ship user journeys
- Ensure systems are auditable and compliant with financial regulations
What you'll need
- At least 3 years of backend engineering experience
- Strong fundamentals in APIs, databases, and system design
- Experience building scalable services and third-party integrations
- Understanding of security, reliability, and data quality
- Ability to balance speed, quality, and risk in decision making
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
- Must be currently based in Vietnam
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, payments, or insurance sectors
- Background in lending, banking, or regulated products
- Track record of handling production systems at scale
