Join a project creating high-quality STEM training data to improve reasoning in frontier AI models. You will design challenging, deterministic biology problems that reflect authentic scientific workflows and submit them with complete, verified solutions.
The role focuses on areas such as molecular biology, genetics, or bioinformatics. You will ensure technical clarity and rigor while leveraging Python and specialized tools to build tasks that test AI capabilities in scientific domains.
What you'll do
- Design advanced biology problems to challenge AI systems
- Create deterministic tasks with exactly one correct answer
- Submit complete and verified solutions for each problem
- Build tasks involving experimental or computational reasoning
- Use Python and relevant bioinformatics tools for analysis
- Ensure high standards of rigor and technical clarity
What you'll need
- Master’s or PhD in Biology or related life sciences
- Experience in computational or quantitative biological analysis
- Strong Python skills for data analysis or workflows
- Ability to solve multi-step scientific problems
- Skill in creating original, difficult real-world problems
- Clear written English and strong attention to detail
Nice to have
- Experience with bioinformatics or genomics toolkits
- Background in structural biology or computational methods
- History of designing technical assessments or challenges
- Cross-disciplinary experience in biology and computation
