Brain Co. builds AI-native operating systems for regulated institutions. As a part-time advisor, you will help shape their AI Permitting product by validating workflows and identifying gaps in automated submission processes.
You will work directly with product and go-to-market teams, providing feedback based on your hands-on experience with permit packages and local regulations.
What you'll do
- Explain personal permit submission workflows and common pitfalls
- Test the software by running a real permit package through it
- Review AI-generated outputs for errors, gaps, or code misapplications
- Share insights on review processes across different jurisdictions
- Evaluate sample packages to predict approval or rejection outcomes
What you'll need
- Hands-on experience preparing and submitting permit packages
- Background as plans examiner, permit engineer, architect, or builder
- Deep knowledge of permitting in Florida, Texas, or California
- Familiarity with local codes, departments, and unwritten rules
- Willingness to share specific examples of passed and failed applications
How you'll work
- Part-time contractor role
- Minimum 2 hours per week
- Initial engagement of 3-4 months
- Opportunity to extend based on needs
