As a Business Systems Automation Specialist, you will identify inefficiencies in customer service, production, and inventory management. You will translate these business challenges into technical requirements and build AI-driven workflows to reduce manual tasks. This role requires independent project ownership from concept through implementation.
What you'll do
- Analyze business workflows to find automation opportunities
- Design and build AI-powered workflows for repetitive tasks
- Streamline customer service operations and order processing
- Integrate software platforms using APIs and workflow tools
- Manage automation projects independently from start to finish
- Document technical solutions and communicate progress to leadership
What you'll need
- 5+ years in automation, software development, or AI implementation
- Experience translating business processes into technical solutions
- Proficiency with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and AI agents
- Hands-on experience with Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar platforms
- Ability to perform light-to-moderate coding in Python or JavaScript
- Familiarity with APIs, databases, and system architecture
- Available to work 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
Nice to have
- Experience with manufacturing or inventory management systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar ERPs
- Experience integrating HubSpot CRM or Magento e-commerce platforms
- Familiarity with Power Automate
