BJAK is expanding beyond its leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia to help users manage spending, saving, and investing. We are looking for a leader to build and scale a new AI-driven payments business from the ground up.
In this hands-on operating role, you will define the product roadmap, hire the team, and drive commercial growth. You have full accountability for business results, moving quickly from strategy to execution.
What you'll do
- Own profit and loss, business strategy, and overall performance targets
- Identify customer needs and decide which products and features to build
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to launch solutions
- Hire team members, set goals, and manage individual performance
- Drive user growth, engagement, revenue, and profitability metrics
- Establish partnerships and operations needed to scale the business
- Make rapid decisions and solve problems from idea to final results
What you'll need
- Proven track record building, launching, or scaling a business unit
- Experience owning P&L, revenue, growth, or measurable business outcomes
- Strong product sense and commercial judgment
- Ability to work across product, engineering, operations, and commercial functions
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams
- Hands-on approach comfortable shifting between strategy and execution
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate with limited structure
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, consumer technology, or AI sectors
