Join a team creating high-quality STEM training data for frontier AI models. You will design complex, deterministic chemistry problems that challenge modern AI systems through deep reasoning and computational rigor. This role focuses on generating verifiable tasks for leading AI labs.
What you'll do
- Design difficult chemistry problems reflecting real scientific workflows
- Create deterministic tasks with one correct answer and verified solutions
- Develop reasoning-intensive and computationally grounded problems
- Use Python and domain-specific chemistry tools or simulation packages
- Ensure all tasks are reproducible, precise, and clearly documented
- Write concise and rigorous technical explanations in English
What you'll need
- Bachelor's, Master’s or PhD in Chemistry or related field
- Experience in computational or quantitative chemistry workflows
- Strong Python skills and familiarity with scientific libraries
- Understanding of modeling, numerical approaches, and chemical reasoning
- Ability to design original problems beyond textbook recall
- Excellent attention to detail and clear technical writing
Nice to have
- Experience with computational chemistry or cheminformatics
- Familiarity with spectroscopy analysis or molecular modeling
- Experience with specialized chemistry software tools
- Background in professional simulation or data analysis workflows
- Experience creating technical evaluation content
