Headway is building AI-powered tools for mental health providers and patients. As a Clinical Evaluator, you will work with Clinical and Product teams to define standards for safe, high-quality AI output. You will test products against these rubrics to determine launch readiness, applying clinical judgment to complex cases.
What you'll do
- Review AI tool outputs for clinical accuracy, safety, and appropriateness
- Apply and refine evaluation rubrics using clinical judgment
- Participate in calibration sessions to ensure consistent standards
- Collaborate with Product teams to improve rubrics based on feedback
- Label datasets and review new use cases prior to launch
- Adhere to HIPAA and privacy requirements within designated systems
What you'll need
- Current independent, unrestricted license as therapist or counselor
- Minimum 3 years of direct therapy experience
- Strong grasp of risk assessment and safety planning
- Ability to explain clinical reasoning clearly in writing
- Comfortable working with AI-assisted review tools
- Willingness to adapt to evolving healthcare technology workflows
Nice to have
- Experience with AI chart reviews or quality audits
- Familiarity with clinical documentation standards
How you'll work
- Fully remote within the United States
- Contract position requiring LLC or S-Corp
- Minimum commitment of 10 hours per week
- Hourly rate of $125
