Join PointFive as a Cloud Efficiency Architect to define and deliver professional services for major enterprise customers. You will own strategic relationships in North America, helping organizations optimize infrastructure costs and manage AI token spend.
This role requires building the services practice from the ground up, running initial engagements, and scaling through automation. You will act as a trusted advisor, influencing product roadmap and establishing industry best practices in cloud and AI efficiency.
What you'll do
- Advise enterprise customers on cloud and AI efficiency strategies and operational best practices
- Own end-to-end relationships for a portfolio of North American accounts
- Build and scale the professional services offering, including packaging and delivery methods
- Partner with sales teams to accelerate deals and ensure smooth handoffs to customer success
- Translate customer feedback and industry trends into product feature requests and roadmap items
- Establish thought leadership through writing, speaking, and attending industry events
What you'll need
- 7+ years of enterprise experience in cloud cost efficiency, FinOps, or cloud architecture
- Hands-on ability to build custom applications, automations, and agentic workflows
- Deep understanding of cost models for AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, and Databricks
- Working knowledge of AI/LLM cost management and token spend optimization
- Proven experience delivering professional services or advisory engagements
- Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business teams
- Ability to operate autonomously and resourcefully in a startup environment
Nice to have
- FinOps Certified Practitioner or Professional certification
- AWS, Azure, or GCP Certified Solutions Architect Associate credentials
- Active involvement in the FinOps Foundation community
- Experience with public speaking at industry conferences
