You will act as a technical advisor for commercial clients, demonstrating how Dash0’s OpenTelemetry-native platform solves real-world observability challenges. Working closely with sales and product teams, you will design architectures, execute proofs of concept, and ensure customers achieve their technical goals.
Although the external title is Solutions Engineer, the internal function aligns with Solutions Architect, covering both pre-sales and post-sales activities. You will help shape the product roadmap by providing technical insights from the field.
What you'll do
- Design observability solutions using Kubernetes and cloud-native tools
- Translate customer needs into scalable Dash0 implementations
- Execute proofs of concept to demonstrate technical capabilities
- Deliver technical demos to engineering and executive audiences
- Collaborate with Account Executives during the sales cycle
- Provide guidance on telemetry data modeling and collector design
- Maintain reusable demo environments and reference architectures
- Share technical insights with Product Management for roadmap planning
What you'll need
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenTelemetry
- Experience with observability pipelines and distributed tracing
- Hands-on skills in instrumentation and data ingestion
- Understanding of DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering
- Ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Proven track record in creating technical demos and POCs
- Strong collaboration skills across Sales and Engineering
Nice to have
- Familiarity with HubSpot for pipeline visibility
- Experience writing technical blogs or speaking at conferences
- Knowledge of the CNCF ecosystem
- Background in high-growth venture-backed startups
