Join the independent Compliance Testing and Monitoring team to ensure Marqeta’s card programs meet regulatory and bank partner obligations. You will execute controls testing across domains like BSA/AML and Reg E, assessing whether controls function effectively in practice rather than just on paper.
Your work will directly inform remediation strategies and support bank partner examinations. This role offers the chance to shape testing methodologies within a rapidly evolving compliance program while working with detailed transaction records and program documentation.
What you'll do
- Execute controls testing across compliance domains including BSA/AML and Reg E
- Review transaction records and onboarding files to assess control performance
- Document findings clearly for reports to bank partners and regulators
- Monitor open findings through closure and follow up with program owners
- Contribute to metrics that provide visibility into compliance control health
What you'll need
- 0 to 2 years of experience in compliance, audit, risk, or financial services
- Foundational understanding of US financial services regulations
- Knowledge of at least one area: BSA/AML, Reg E, Reg Z, CDD/EDD, or complaints
- Strong written communication skills for precise documentation
- Ability to work with detailed information and identify inconsistencies
Nice to have
- Exposure to fintech, payments, or card program compliance
- Familiarity with issue tracking or audit management tools like Optro
How you'll work
- Hybrid model with Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite in Warsaw
